Your Parenting Blueprint Begins in the Kitchen
Nurturing & Roles
Think about the kitchen you grew up in. Who took care of everyone? Who helped? Who carried most of the responsibility? And what was expected of you?
Maybe caring for one another was something your family did really well. Maybe you learned to be responsible very early. Maybe one person seemed to carry everything.
Those experiences taught you something about what it means to care for a family.
And now, you may notice some of those same patterns in your own home. Maybe you do everything because that is what was modeled for you. Or maybe you are very intentional about making sure everyone contributes because you want something different.
I invite you to think about:
What did my childhood home teach me about taking care of the people I love, and do I want to carry that forward?
But your blueprint wasn't built in just one room.
The Kitchen may simply be where you begin noticing what you copied, what you changed, and what you now get to create with intention.
