Your Parenting Blueprint Begins in the Living Room
Connection & Belonging
When you think back to your childhood home, what did connection look like?
Maybe your family spent a lot of time together. Maybe you always knew you belonged. Or maybe connection was something you wanted more of.
Either way, it taught you something.
Your answers suggest that connection and belonging may be one of the places where your childhood story is showing up in your parenting today. You may be recreating something that felt really good growing up, or you may be working hard to give your children something you wish you had.
And sometimes, we do both.
I invite you to think about:
What did belonging feel like in my childhood home, and what do I want it to feel like in the home I'm creating?
But your blueprint wasn't built in just one room.
The Living Room may simply be where your story is inviting you to begin. There are still more rooms to walk through, more patterns to notice, and more opportunities to decide what you want to keep, what you want to change, and what you want to create.
